1. Scope of Work

Before any project begins, we’ll agree on the scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, and responsibilities in writing. This may be outlined in a proposal, statement of work, email, or other agreed document.

If the scope changes after work begins, we’ll review the impact on timing and cost before proceeding.

2. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are agreed before the project starts and may vary depending on the engagement.

Unless otherwise agreed, work may require an upfront payment before commencement. Final files, access, or deliverables may be released once the agreed payments are complete.

Any third-party costs such as hosting, plugins, fonts, stock assets, printing, or external services are billed separately unless explicitly included.

3. Revisions

Projects include the number of revision rounds agreed in the scope.

Revisions are intended to refine the approved direction. Significant changes in direction, additional concepts, or requests outside the original scope may require a revised estimate.

4. Timelines & Feedback

We’ll agree on a project timeline and do our best to keep work moving as planned.

Timely feedback, approvals, content, and assets from the client are essential. Delays in these may affect the delivery schedule.

If a project is paused for an extended period, we may need to reschedule the remaining work based on availability.

5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Once all agreed payments are complete, ownership of the final approved deliverables transfers according to the terms of the project agreement.

Working files, unused concepts, internal processes, templates, tools, and pre-existing intellectual property remain the property of Dezign Pro unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Third-party assets remain subject to their own licence terms.

6. Portfolio & Promotion

Unless confidentiality terms state otherwise, Dezign Pro may display completed work in our portfolio, website, social media, presentations, case studies, and promotional materials.

Client confidential information will not be disclosed without permission.

7. Communication

We work primarily through email, Slack, Figma, calls, and other agreed collaboration tools.

We aim to respond within a reasonable working timeframe. Response times may vary depending on project priority, time zone, and availability.

8. Cancellations & Project Pauses

Either party may request to pause or cancel a project.

The client remains responsible for payment for work completed, committed resources, and approved third-party costs up to the cancellation date.

Any deposits or advance payments are handled according to the agreed project terms.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to handle confidential business, product, customer, and project information responsibly.

Where required, a separate NDA may be used.

10. Website Use

The Dezign Pro website and its original content, including copy, design, graphics, case studies, and visual assets, may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission.

Client names, logos, trademarks, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Liability

We will deliver services with reasonable care and professionalism.

To the extent permitted by law, Dezign Pro is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, third-party platform failures, or issues arising from changes made by others after delivery.

12. Third-Party Services

Projects may involve platforms or services such as hosting providers, CMS tools, payment systems, plugins, APIs, fonts, or external software.

Their availability, pricing, licensing, policies, and performance are outside Dezign Pro’s control.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in our services or business practices.
